As the educational director for ETC, I developed an online certification course for teachers looking to learn more about adapted and inclusive theatre practices. This comprehensive course curriculum includes instructional materials and videos as well as quizzes and assignments.
ETC Inclusive Friends Education & Curriculum Director
Developing and designing a full curriculum in collaboration with several clients and SMEs, this project included unit planning and standards alignment. The materials were developed for students to use in-person along with teacher guides. This curriculum utilized best practices in learning, taking students through knowledge, understanding, empathy building, and putting into practice as they learned about different disabilities in a hands-on, empathy building program. I also created story books to go along with each unit in this curriculum.

Walk In My Shoes Curriculum Director
Walk In My Shoes (WIMS) is an empathy building program designed to teach students about different disabilities through perspective taking activities. I used WIMS in my dissertation research, leading to the development of a holistic curriculum instead of a one-time assembly event. I led pilot studies and expanded WIMS to elementary, middle, and high school students as well as a teacher training program and corporate training program. As the Curriculum Director with Walk In My Shoes, I used core activities created by the WIMS Director to develop a full-scale curriculum based on research, best practices, and WIMS aligned outcomes. This project resulted in a 16 unit program with 5 lessons in each unit geared toward elementary and middle school students, teacher training programs (virtual and in-person), and marketing material development. Here are a few of outcomes I'm able to share as WIMS is still a developing project.
